I love, love, love the CP Mini Ink Pads. I tend to take a lot of card making supplies when I go camping (don't judge - I can only go a few days without doing something crafty and my my hubby gets it) and these mini ink pads are a GREAT way to take a lot of ink without taking up a lot of space. It's a win win.
Also they are great for cards like this. When you want to add a lot of color but in small sections what's better than a mini ink pad to do the work for you.
I used a piece of card stock that started out about 3" x 8". Next I grabbed a rainbow of mini ink pads and swiped them across the paper being sure to get right up next to the color before it. I cut the panel down to about 2" x 6 1/2"
Next I used a tree from the Fun Forest Stamp Set and stamped it on each color with WOW Embossing ink. I heat embossed each one with WOW White Embossing powder then added it with craft foam to a panel that I cut with the stitched rectangle die from the Post This Slimline Die Set. I layered that onto another piece of card stock that was cut to 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" and then adhered that to a white card base that is 8 1/2" x 7" scored on the 7" side at 3 1/2".
