THE GARDENERS TREASURE BUNDLE IS MY KIND OF GARDENING

Happy Thursday Everyone!! Catherine Pooler Designs has a new collection coming out soon. It's the Ex Libris Collection and it will be available on Wednesday, April 6th at 9am EST for general ordering but if you're a StampNation member you can shop on Tuesday, April 5th at noon EST.

The first bundle is The Gardener's Treasures Bundle

The Gardener's Treasure Bundle includes the following:

- Dried Treasures Stamps & Dies
- Gardener's Notebook Patterned Paper
- Tuscany Sequins

The second bundle is The From the Library Bundle

The From The Library Bundle includes the following:

- Notable & Quotable Sentiments Stamps
- Notable Floral Dies
- Filigree Background Stamp
- Ex Libris Dies

The bundles are available at a discount but you can purchase items individually and mix and match your favorites.

I am NOT a gardener but I'll play with the Gardeners Treasure Bundle all day!! And when paired with the new Apothecary inks it's crafting time heaven!

I embossed the panel for this card using the Doodle Garden Background stamp and white embossing powder and added Wintergreen Ink. I cut it with the large rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Die set then adhered it to a white card base with craft foam.

I stamped the jars onto watercolor card stock with Midnight ink then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them in with Terracotta ink from the reinker, a little water and a paint brush. When they were dry I sprayed a little water on them and dried it with a cloth. I love how they turned out. I fussy cut them right against the black lines instead of using the dies.
I stamped a few flowers from the Dried Treasures Stamp set, colored them in and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I embossed a sentiment from the Dried Treasures Stamp Set, fussy cut it out then adhered everything to the card.
A few sequins from the Tuscany Sequin mix finish it off.

I'll be back soon with more from this bundle.
Have a great day everyone!!

Now back to the inks!
Check'em out!!

I'd like to introduce you to Wintergreen, Apricot, Ginger & Terracotta. In the pic above you can see I stamped them directly onto  some white card stock using a large background stamp.

In this next pick I stamped another background stamp, heat embossed it with white embossing powder then ink blended the inks onto that.

I blended Apricot, Orange Peel, Mandarin Spice and Ginger on this first panel.

Next up is Wintergreen, Seafoam, Sea Glass and Daydream

And for the final ink blended panel I used Clay Mask, Polished and Terracotta.

I made these two cards using just the 4 new ink colors and some Midnight ink.

I'll be back tomorrow using these inks and some more new goodies coming soon.

***Please Note: I've linked to the new inks below but they won't be live in the shop until the times mentioned above.***

THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE - STENCILS

Happy Saturday!!!
It's time for another Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge and this week the theme is STENCILS.

Stencils are not something I use often. I tend to forget about them but when I do use them I tell myself I need to use them more. They're fun and it's a quick and easy way to add a lot to a card.
I used the Star Ray Full Stencil on my card today and paired it with the Believe in Fairies Stamp Set.

For the background I used a piece of light blue (sorry I don't know the name of it) from the Hero Hues Sampler Pack of card stock. I added some Nuvo Mother of Pearl Embellishment Mousse through the stencil with a pallet knife. When that was dry I rotated the stencil a little then added some Nuvo Aquamarine Embellishment Mousse.
I set the panel aside to dry and stamped the fairy from the the Believe in Fairies Stamp Set with Catherine Pooler Designs Sand Castle ink and colored it in with Prismacolor Pencils. I went over top of the coloring with some Altenew Artist Markers to brighten it up. I used Mango Smoothie, Frayed Leaf and Sea Glass.

I cut the panel with the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched 4 Bar Dies, blended some Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Broken China inks around the edges then adhered it directly to a white card base.
I added the fairy to the center of the card using craft foam then heat embossed the sentiment from the same Believe in Fairies Stamp Set onto some black card stock and adhered them directly to the card.

Here is the list of Prismacolor pencils I used:
989 - Chartreuse
910 - True Green
912 - Apple Green
1086 - Sky Blue Light
1087 - Powder Blue
1011 - Deco Yellow
1012 - Jasmine
942 - Yellow Ochre
922 - Poppy Red
997 - Beige
941 - Light Umber

EASTER'S COMING + RETIREMENT SALE

I don't tend to send Easter cards but I really had the urge to make one today so I pulled out the Spring into Easter Stamps and coordinating dies from Catherine Pooler Designs and had some fun.

I also pulled out the Sprinkle Mini Cover Plate Die - you can see it in the above pic on the bottom right - and used that on my card today. It's on sale right now for 65% OFF but it's ending today, Thursday, 25th at NOON EST.
I used both pieces of the die on my card today but you could use them separately too. Click HERE to check out the sale.

I layered the two pieces from the Sprinkle Mini Cover Plate Die together then glued the confetti back in place. I colored the circle pieces with Pink Champagne and Sand Castle ink the glued them back in place. I adhered the panel to a piece of Pink Champagne Urban Plaid Patterned Pater with craft foam and adhered that directly to a white card base.

I stamped the bunny using Over Coffee Ink then colored it in using a blender pen and Sand Castle, Over Coffee and Icing on the Cake inks. I cut it out with the coordinating die then adhered it to the card with craft foam.
I stamped the sentiment using Icing on the Cake ink, fussy cut it out and adhered that to the card with more craft foam.

ELEPHANT WITH HEART BALLOON FROM LEE HOLLAND

Lee Holland is a sponsor over at the Passionate Paper Creations & Friends Facebook page.  I'm playing with the Elephant with Heart Balloon Digi Image and oh my word it is adorable!!!  Lee Holland has so many cute images that you're going to want them all - I know I do ;) and you can check them out HERE

After printing the image onto some Neenah 80lb card stock I colored it in using my Prismacolor Pencils (listed below). I kept the coloring all very soft except for the balloon and then used the Cloud Stencil from MFT and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create a soft sky for the background.

I cut the panel using the second largest die in the Lawn Fawn Large 4 Bar Stitched Rectangle Dies and layered it on to some grey card stock I had in my stash. I stamped the sentiment (after performing a little stamp surgery) from Avery Elles Loads of Wishes using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
For the card base I added a strip of patterned paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Sum-Sum-Summertime Paper Pack.

I adhered the panel to the card base using some craft foam then added a few sequins from Catherine Pooler Designs Paisley Park Sequin Mix. I finished the card by adding some Nuvo Crystal Clear Morning Dew Drops to the heart balloon. It's kind of hard to see in the pic but in real life it adds a bit of fun and some shine.

These are the colors of Prismacolor Pencils that I used:
1014 - Deco Pink
1018 - Pink Rose
1031 - Henna
120 - Sap Green Light
908 - Dark Green
1086 - Sky Blue Light
934 - Lavender
995 - Mulberry
996 - Black Cherry
1059 - 10% Cool Grey
1060 - 20% Cool Grey
1063 - 50% Cool Grey
1065 - 70% Cool Grey

YOU ARE LOVED + RETIREMENT SALE

I made a card today using some of my favorite products. I've lost track of how many cards I've made with products from the Magnificent Mom Bundle (pictured below) from Catherine Pooler Designs' Celebrate Spring Collection. This card took me just a few minutes to make.

I used what seems to be my go-to color scheme lately. There's just something about green, blue and yellow together and I've ALWAYS been a fan of grey. Oh what I would do to have some Twilight and Black Jack card stock!!

I started by stamping the stems then the outlines of the flowers and leaf in Midnight ink. I stamped the rose in Cummerbund - not sure if there is such a thing as a blue rose in real life but in cardmaking there definitely is. I stamped the leaf with Minted ink then stamped the lily onto a scrap piece of paper from the Happy Mama Paper Pack.
Those little grey dots are actually meant to be stamped on the lily but I used dotted paper so I stamped them around the panel then added it to a white card base with some craft foam.
Fussy cutting out the lily probably took the same amount of time as stamping the images.

Don't forget to check out Catherine's Retirement Sale. There are items as much as 80% OFF!! But it's only while supplies last. Click the image to check out the deals.

THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE - FLORAL

Happy Saturday Friends!
Welcome to another Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge and this week the theme is FLORAL.

I used the It's a Ponderful Life Stamp Set for the floral image and the

I started with a piece of white card stock cut to 4' x 5 1/4" and repeatedly stamped the lily pad over the whole panel using Nocturne ink.

I added color using blending brushes and Tiara, Oh Boy! and In The Park inks. This is a great way to add color without the time it takes to color. You have to be comfortable with coloring outside the lines to do this and if you are I highly recommend it - it's fun, easy and quick.

I stamped another lily pad on a scrap piece of card stock, added color using the same technique then fussy cut the image out. I adhered it to the panel directly on top of an existing image with craft foam then adhered the embossed sentiment to it with more craft foam.
I added the panel to a white card stock with craft foam for more dimension.
A scattering of Santa Fe Sequins finish this card.

I hope I've inspired up to play along with us in this weeks challenge for a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate to the Three Room Studio Shop. You can find all the details here

You can also check out my team mates on Instagram and see how they were inspired by this challenge.

ELEPHANTS AND UNICORNS FROM SWEET SENTIMENT STAMPS

SWEET SENTIMENT STAMPS is having a BIG sale but it's just for Passionate Paper Creations & Friends Facebook members! Their images are so cute and fun to color -  this is my second post this week with their stamps. I am definitely a fan. You're definitely going to want to check out the sale.

Today I'm playing with the Elephants and Unicorns Set. I kept this card really simple.

I colored the image in with some Prismacolor Pencils then cut the image out. What is it about elephants that are so cute!!

I used a piece of patterned paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Across the Globe Paper Pack. I cut it with the second largest die from the Lawn Fawn Large 4 Bar Stitched Rectangle Set and adhered it directly to a white card base. I added the colored image with craft foam to the panel then added the sentiment, layered onto black card stock, directly to the card base.

I love how simple this card is - it came together so quickly. The patterned paper does all the work :)
