I wanted a bright, fun birthday card and the Wavy Stencil with the Take a Peek Stamp Set & Coordinating die from the new Global Adventure collection is perfect for what I had in mind.
I started with the stencil. I sprayed it with Pixie Spray which is a temporary adhesive, then laid it onto a piece of white card stock. Using blending brushes I added one ink color on an angle then another blending each one into the next. After adding all the ink I used a fine tip black sharpie and outlined around each inked up section.
I used the large stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Die Set to cut the panel then added it to a card base with craft foam.
I stamped the giraffe and the hat and cut them out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the card. The only color I added to it was a little It's a Girl ink to the ears.
I stamped the sentiment onto the panel with midnight ink.
