FALL IS IN THE AIR

Who else loves Fall as much as I do? The colors, the leaves, the warm drinks...I could go on but let's look at another card I made using products from the upcoming All Things Fall Collection.

This collection will be available on August 3rd to the General Public and August 2nd for StampNation members. Not a member and want to shop early? Click HERE for details.

My card today uses products from the following bundles -

Lattes & Leaves Bundle
I used the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamps & Dies

  • Fall Calls for Lattes Stamps & Dies
  • Blowing Leaves Background Stamp
  • Oh So Good Word Dies
Harvest Festival Bundle
I used the Harvest Festival Patterned Paper and the Dublin Sequins

  • Fall Finds Stamps & Dies
  • All in One Thank You Word Die
  • Criss Cross Applesauce Cover Plate Die
  • Harvest Festival Patterned Paper
  • Dublin Sequins
Neutrals Collection: The Browns Ink Pads
I used Buttercream, Spiced, Cargo and S'mores

All the products in the bundles are available to purchase individually or in the bundle at a discount.

I did some ink smooshing the other day and cut out a few panels, lots of leaves, some apples and a few pumpkins. I love making one big technique piece and being able to get so many cards from it. I think I counted 7 cards that use things from that one piece.

I started this card by choosing a few papers from the Harvest Festival Patterned Paper Pack and cut 3 pieces all different sizes. I adhered them to a piece of white card stock then used the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set to cut it down.

I stamped the sentiment from the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set with Eucalyptus ink then adhered some pieces from the Ink smooshed panel I talked about earlier. I adhered a few sequins from the Dublin Sequin Mix then added the panel to a card base with craft foam.

***Please Note that while I have linked to the new products below they will not go live in the shop until the dates mentioned above***

Thanks for sharing part of your day with me :)

ALL THINGS FALL

We're having heat warnings right now where I live and it is definitely HOT! Fall is my favorite time of the year and playing with the new ink colors and these fall themed stamps has me wishing it was Fall already.

The All Things Fall Collection will be available August 3rd for the General Public and if you're a StampNation member then you can order early on August 2nd.

The first thing I did with the new inks was some ink smooshing - such a fun technique.

I used Buttercream, Spiced, Cargo and S'mores along with Merlot, Eucalyptus, Orange Peel and Apricot and some mixed media paper.

I used a large piece of Canson Mixed Media Paper and filled it with ink. I started with Merlot - smooshing it onto my glass mat, spritzing it with water then pressing the paper into the ink in random spots. I used a heat tool to dry it then repeated the process with Spiced, Eucalyptus, Buttercream, Orange Peel, Cargo and Apricot Ink. I finished by splattering some watered down S'mores ink over the whole piece. When it was dry I stamped some of the images from Fall Calls For Lattes and cut them out with the coordinating dies and also a few panels using the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set.

Onto a white card base I added a piece of white card stock cut to 4 x 5 1/4" then the ink smooshed panel. I stamped the to go cup and the whip cream from the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set, colored them with Twilight, Sand Castle and Over Coffee ink then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I layered them together and added them to the card with craft foam. I positioned the leaves & apple around the cup then stamped the sentiment using S'mores ink. I cut the oh yeah 3 times from white card stock, layered them together then added them to the card. I finished the card with a few of the Dublin Sequins.

MEET ME FOR A CUPPA?

It's almost time for the new release from Catherine Pooler Designs and this one is all about my favorite season. It's called All Things Fall and it's awesome!

I've made so many cards and have so many more ideas in my head for cards and scrapbook pages. All the new goodies will be in the shop Aug 3rd for the General Public and Aug 2nd for StampNation members. Click HERE to learn more about StampNation.

The Lattes & Leaves Bundle is one of the three new bundles coming August 3rd.
This bundle includes the following:
- Fall Calls For Lattes Stamps & Dies
- Blowing Leaves Background Stamp
- Oh So Good Word Dies

There are also 5 new ink colors hitting the shop next week that are part of the Neutrals Collection. They are Buttercream, Spiced, Macchiato, Cargo and S'mores and they are perfect for fall.

My card today uses the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set and 3 of the new ink colors.

One of my favorite things to do with a new stamp set is to take some of the images and stamp them all over a piece of paper essentially making my own patterned paper. That's what I did with all the cups from the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set. I think my favorite is the one with the leaves on it.

Next I grabbed a blender pen and some inks and colored the images in. I used 3 of the new inks - Macchiato, Buttercream and Spiced along with Sand Castle, Over Coffee, Merlot, Peppermint Scrub, Eucalyptus and Twilight.

I stamped the sentiments also from the Fall Calls For Lattes stamp set using Macchiato ink. I layered the panel directly onto a white card base keeping this card very simple.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

I WOOF YOU

Isn't this little puppy from All Dressed Up the cutest! It's a digital image called Woof You and you can find it HERE. I printed it onto some Canson Mixed Media paper and colored it with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Here is the list of Tombow markers that I used:

817 - Mauve
847 - Crimson
603 - Periwinkle
606 - Violet
055 - Process Yellow
993 - Chrome Orange
158 - Dark Olive
192 - Asparagus
977 - Saddle Brown
N75 - Cool Grey 3
N65 - Cool Grey 5
N45 - Cool Grey 10
N15 - Black

The sentiment is from a Catherine Pooler Designs set called Look Who's Talking Sentiments. I embossed it onto some black card stock and cut it out with one of the Look Who's Talking Dies. I cut the the panel with a stitched rectangle die, layered it onto some black card stock then added it to a piece of pink card stock using craft foam then added that to a white card base.

I love how this turned out. Be sure to check out the All Dressed Up images as there are SO MANY adorable ones. I am not affiliated with them I just really LOVE their images. My stash is definitely beginning to grow.

Thanks for sharing part of your day with me :)

Take care,
Susan

YOU ARE SO CLUCKING COOL

I love, love, love the Clucking Cool Stamp Set from Your Next Stamp. When I saw it I instantly thought of Foghorn Leghorn and had to order it.

I stamped the image onto some white card stock and decided that I needed to color him to look like Foghorn Leghorn so I grabbed some Prismacolor pencils and had some fun coloring him. I've listed the colors I used below. When I was done I cut the image out then used a black marker to go around the edges. This is a great way to clean up any of the cutting.

I stamped some trees from Catherine Pooler Designs Because Trees Stamp Set using Green Tea, Eucalyptus, Sage and Bay Breeze and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
The sentiment is embossed onto black card stock and everything is added to a panel that I cut using the large stitched rectangle die in the Postage Stamp Die Set also from Catherine Pooler Designs.

Prismacolor Pencils used:

922 Poppy Red
924 Crimson Red
943 Burnt Ochre
1032 Pumpkin Orange
915 Lemon Yellow
917 Sunburst Yellow
1034 Goldenrod
1051 20% Warm Grey
1054 50% Warm Grey
1058 90% Warm Grey
14420 Jet Black Extra Smooth

Thanks for sharing part of your day with me :)

Take care,
Susan

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

You are my Sunshine, my only sunshine... I used to sing that song to my girls when they were little. Now that they're adults and living in other towns we don't get to see them as much as we'd like and I've been thinking about them a lot and this song came to mind so I made a card.

I used the Circle Burst Stencil, Limoncello, Glitz, Tiara, Catching Rays and Tiki Torch to create the sun with a blending brush on a 4 x 5 1/4" white card stock. I layered it onto a piece of black card stock leaving a tiny border and adhered it to a white card base.

I used the Slim Alphabet Dies to cut Sunshine out of black card stock and adhered them to the card. The sentiment is made from two sentiments from the Notes of Love Sentiments Stamp Set. I embossed them with white onto black card stock then pieced them together and adhered them to the card.

IF YOU WANT A RAINBOW...

Today I'm coloring the Rain Gnome digital image from KLM Digital Designs. This set comes with one image and 3 sentiments.
I printed the image onto some Canson Mixed Media paper and colored him in with some Tombow markers. When I was done coloring him I cut him out and added some craft foam to the back.

To create the background for the card I figured out where I was going to be placing the gnome then printed the sentiment. I used part of the Rainbow Slimline Die from Catherine Pooler Designs and some Distress Oxide Inks to make the rainbow. I glued the rainbow to the panel, adhered the gnome  and a little puddle of water below him then added the panel to a white card base.

I love how colorful this card is and that it still has a lot of white space too.

Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.

Take care,
Susan

FREE HORN OF PLENTY

For the month of August, StampNation members will receive the beautiful Horn of Plenty Stamp Set FREE when you place an order.

I've got two cards to share with you today using the stamp set. There is a coordinating die that is available for purchase.

I used the Plaid Background Stamp to make the background for this card and the thanks stamp to create a panel to adhere onto the panel with craft foam. I colored the horn of plenty using a blender pen and some beautiful CP inks. I cut it out with the coordinating die then embossed the sentiment. I adhered it all to the panel then added it to the card base.

This next card uses the Plaid Background Stamp again to make a strip to add to the bottom of the stamped panel.

I lightly traced the large circle stamping block onto white card stock then used the small stamps from the Horn of Plenty Stamp set to make the wreath. I erased the circle then added some Twilight ink around the wreath to create some dimension. I added some Eucalyptus ink to the edges of a piece of white card stock, layered the stamped pieces on top then adhered it to a white card base.

Thanks for sharing part of your day with me :)

Take care,
Susan
