Hi Everyone!
I took a few days off of creating and social media to do some much needed organizing and personal recharging. But yesterday I was back in my craft room creating and I made 12 cards for upcoming challenges that I will be sharing over the next month. I just got on a roll and couldn't stop.
Today's card uses the recently released Take a Peek Stamp and Die set from Catherine Pooler Designs. I've had so much fun with this set.
While I was organizing my craft supplies I came across the Safari Patterned Paper from CP Designs and had an idea for a card. I cut a panel with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies then adhered it to a card base with some craft foam.
I love this patterned paper and decided to use the colors of the leaves as the color of my animals. I stamped and die cut each animal, then took the ink pads and swiped it across each one filling it in completely with ink. I adhered them to the card and popped up the hippo with craft foam.
I did some direct to paper with the Sand Castle ink then embossed the sentiment and added it to the card with more craft foam.
I used my Posca Paint Pen to add the dots to the eyes then decided I wanted to add glasses to each one for a bit of fun. I used the Pet Specs dies and gave each one a different pair.
