Yesterday I told you about Catherine Pooler Designs celebrating her 5 year Inkaversary and that we're celebrating in lots of ways.

The first way we're celebrating is with a SALE!

Flash Sale on Ink Pads & Refills
The Flash Sale will run November 1st- 2nd. All full size Ink Pads and Refills will be 15% off!  (excluding the 6 new Luxe colors). We almost NEVER put our ink on sale, so this is a very special offer!

PLUS...Refresh of 3 Classic Colors
Coming January of 2022
We're so excited to now be able to bring a more highly saturated version of our classic colors: Mint to Be, It's a Boy & Sweet Sixteen.  These refreshed colors will be added in January 2022 to our Party Collection as we retire our three classic colors.

That means every new ink color in the full size pad, the refill and our new Mini Ink Pads!  Can I hear a whoot, whoot?!?!

Ink Smooshing may just be my all time favorite technique to do. It's fun, it's messy and it's different every time. On today's card I used Mint to BeIn The ParkAquatiniMardi Gras and Party Dress inks.

When you do this technique be sure to dry the paper between each color. I love how each color layers on top of the one before it and how it blends in some areas as well. It all depends on how much water you add and how much you mix the inks on the paper.
I will link to a post and video of another card I made showing the whole Ink Smooshing process. You can see that HERE
I finished this card by stamping the camera and the sentiment from the Oh! Snap! Stamp Set in Midnight ink using my MISTI. Because I used watercolor paper for the ink smooshing I stamped the sentiment a few times to get a solid print. Once I did I cleaned off the stamps leaving them in place in my MISTI then inked them up with WOW embossing ink. I stamped over the black ink then heat set it with clear embossing powder. This helps them to pop off the paper more than if I had just stamped them.
