THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE - STENCILS

Happy Saturday!!!
It's time for another Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge and this week the theme is STENCILS.

Stencils are not something I use often. I tend to forget about them but when I do use them I tell myself I need to use them more. They're fun and it's a quick and easy way to add a lot to a card.
I used the Star Ray Full Stencil on my card today and paired it with the Believe in Fairies Stamp Set.

For the background I used a piece of light blue (sorry I don't know the name of it) from the Hero Hues Sampler Pack of card stock. I added some Nuvo Mother of Pearl Embellishment Mousse through the stencil with a pallet knife. When that was dry I rotated the stencil a little then added some Nuvo Aquamarine Embellishment Mousse.
I set the panel aside to dry and stamped the fairy from the the Believe in Fairies Stamp Set with Catherine Pooler Designs Sand Castle ink and colored it in with Prismacolor Pencils. I went over top of the coloring with some Altenew Artist Markers to brighten it up. I used Mango Smoothie, Frayed Leaf and Sea Glass.

I cut the panel with the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched 4 Bar Dies, blended some Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Broken China inks around the edges then adhered it directly to a white card base.
I added the fairy to the center of the card using craft foam then heat embossed the sentiment from the same Believe in Fairies Stamp Set onto some black card stock and adhered them directly to the card.

Here is the list of Prismacolor pencils I used:
989 - Chartreuse
910 - True Green
912 - Apple Green
1086 - Sky Blue Light
1087 - Powder Blue
1011 - Deco Yellow
1012 - Jasmine
942 - Yellow Ochre
922 - Poppy Red
997 - Beige
941 - Light Umber

Happy Stampin'
