Hello Friends. I've got another card to share with you today using some of the products in the Magnificent Mom Bundle from the Celebrate Spring Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs.
This may look like it took a long time but I promise you it didn't.
I started with a piece of white card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". Using WOW embossing ink I stamped the Coming Up Roses Background Stamp onto the panel then heat embossed it with WOW white embossing powder.
I grabbed my Be Mine, Coral Cabana, Samba, Tiara, In The Park, Minted and Cummerbund ink pads and a blender pen and set about coloring in the leaves and flowers. I did not take my time coloring each petal individually. I colored the whole flower once basically scribbling on the color then went back over some areas with the same color to give it some shading. I used a cloth to wipe off the ink that was sitting on the white embossed areas. I colored each image in exactly this way.
Once I colored all the flowers and greenery I used a black Tombow marker and filled in the background so it looks like I colored on black card stock. I love doing this.
I cut the piece down to 4 x 5 1/4" then centered the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die onto it so I got a frame to add to the card base and the panel to pop up on craft foam. I did layer the frame onto some black card stock first then embossed a sentiment from the Mother's & Daughters Sentiments Stamp Set with white embossing powder onto black card stock. I fussy cut them out, adhered them to the panel then added a few of the Helsinki Sequins.
