ALL THINGS FALL

We're having heat warnings right now where I live and it is definitely HOT! Fall is my favorite time of the year and playing with the new ink colors and these fall themed stamps has me wishing it was Fall already.

The All Things Fall Collection will be available August 3rd for the General Public and if you're a StampNation member then you can order early on August 2nd.

The first thing I did with the new inks was some ink smooshing - such a fun technique.

I used Buttercream, Spiced, Cargo and S'mores along with Merlot, Eucalyptus, Orange Peel and Apricot and some mixed media paper.

I used a large piece of Canson Mixed Media Paper and filled it with ink. I started with Merlot - smooshing it onto my glass mat, spritzing it with water then pressing the paper into the ink in random spots. I used a heat tool to dry it then repeated the process with Spiced, Eucalyptus, Buttercream, Orange Peel, Cargo and Apricot Ink. I finished by splattering some watered down S'mores ink over the whole piece. When it was dry I stamped some of the images from Fall Calls For Lattes and cut them out with the coordinating dies and also a few panels using the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set.

Onto a white card base I added a piece of white card stock cut to 4 x 5 1/4" then the ink smooshed panel. I stamped the to go cup and the whip cream from the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set, colored them with Twilight, Sand Castle and Over Coffee ink then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I layered them together and added them to the card with craft foam. I positioned the leaves & apple around the cup then stamped the sentiment using S'mores ink. I cut the oh yeah 3 times from white card stock, layered them together then added them to the card. I finished the card with a few of the Dublin Sequins.
