This card was made with mostly leftover pieces that didn't make it onto other cards. I had stamped the cat and dog from the More Peeking Pets Stamp Set onto some white card stock for a different card and then never finished it. I found it on my desk in a pile as I was cleaning and decided that I would go through other pieces not used and see if I could make a card.
I found the frame from the Chalkboard Frames Dies and it fit perfectly around the peeking pets. Next I saw the glasses and that patterned paper which I cut to fit on the end.
The sentiment was already embossed on brown card stock and was in my bowl of unused sentiments so that was definitely going on the card. I decided I needed to add a little more so I searched my stamp sets for a big sentiment to fit under the frame and Friend from the My Favorite Sentiment Stamp Set fit perfectly so I stamped that with Icing on the cake ink and then added the little butterflies from the Every Occasion Sentiments Stamp Set also with Icing on the Cake ink.
Some days I can look at my leftover pieces and nothing seems to work together and then other days it does.
