Happy Saturday!!
Yup, it's Saturday which means you made it through another week!! You should celebrate by spending some time in your craft space and join in this weeks challenge at Three Room Studio. The theme is water. You could do a water scene, you could use water on your card, do a technique that involves water - however you would like to play along we would welcome it.
I did some ink smooshing with Tombow Dual Brush Pens on some mix media card stock. I cut the panel down then ink blended the edges with some Distress Oxide ink. I splattered on some water to get the look of water bubbles then distressed the edges.
I stamped the images from It's a Ponderful Life Stamp Set with Nocturne ink, colored them in with some Prismacolor Pencils then fussy cut them out. I adhered them directly to the ink smooshed panel.
I used my mini MISTI to figure out the placement of the sentiment - the grid lines are great for helping to make sure the sentiment is straight too. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped with the same black ink. I added craft foam to the back of the ink smooshed panel then adhered it all to a white card base.
