Fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect for hiking - not too hot and the colors of the changing leaves is so pretty. I love that I get to wear my sweaters and scarves and it's a great excuse to have an extra cuppa chai - not that I ever need an excuse lol.
I used the Sweater Weather in the Woods from MFT to make my card. I stamped all the images with Nocturne ink, colored them with my Prismacolor pencils and then set about fussy cutting each one out. The hardest part was fitting that to-go cup into the paws/hands of the little beaver. I used an exacto knife to cut some slits and tucked in the to-go cup.
I blended some Distress Oxide inks a piece of card stock and then used a die to cut out a circle for a backdrop. I stamped the sentiment with Nocturne ink onto a panel that I cut with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die. I added the circle with some craft foam and then added all the cute critters. I added the panel to a card base - I love the white on white layering with pops of color.
Next on the hop is Kia but before you go please leave me a comment for a chance to win a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to shop.

ReplyDeleteI don't buy very many of the cute animal sets as I tend to see them as young and for children, yet when I see a card like this it makes me want to buy some. So maybe I will soon. Thanks
