HAPPY FALL Y'ALL OCTOBER HOP WITH SCRAP'N STAMP

It's the first Friday of the month so that means it's time for a hop at Scrap'n Stamp and this months theme is HAPPY FALL Y'ALL.

This month there is a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the Scrap'n Stamp Store up for grabs for one lucky commenter. You should have arrived from Tara's post but if you missed it or any others I have all the links below.

In honor of World Carmaking Day Scrap'n Stamp is having a SALE. Up to 5 0% off select items.Be sure to check it out.

Fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect for hiking - not too hot and the colors of the changing leaves is so pretty. I love that I get to wear my sweaters and scarves and it's a great excuse to have an extra cuppa chai - not that I ever need an excuse lol.

I used the Sweater Weather in the Woods from MFT to make my card. I stamped all the images with Nocturne ink, colored them with my Prismacolor pencils and then set about fussy cutting each one out. The hardest part was fitting that to-go cup into the paws/hands of the little beaver. I used an exacto knife to cut some slits and tucked in the to-go cup.

I blended some Distress Oxide inks a piece of card stock and then used a die to cut out a circle for a backdrop. I stamped the sentiment with Nocturne ink onto a panel that I cut with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die. I added the circle with some craft foam and then added all the cute critters. I added the panel to a card base - I love the white on white layering with pops of color.

Next on the hop is Kia but before you go please leave me a comment for a chance to win a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to shop.

  12. Adorable! I would never have the patience (or skill, let’s be honest, lol) to get that coffee cup in the beaver’s hands. I’m bad enough just at fussy cutting and that takes it to a whole new level.

  14. I don't buy very many of the cute animal sets as I tend to see them as young and for children, yet when I see a card like this it makes me want to buy some. So maybe I will soon. Thanks
