I made this card last summer and just found it in my stash. I bought it because it made me think of our oldest daughter when she was little and playing soccer. She only played for one year but it was fun to watch.
This image is from Lili of the Valley and is called The Big Kick. I tried finding it online but I think it's been retired as I couldn't find it. I've had it for years but haven't used it until this card. I have a LOT of images I haven't used yet and that is my goal for the year - to use as many of the images and products that I have in my stash before I buy more. I did buy some digital things for scrapbooking earlier this month but my goal is no more - unless absolutely necessary lol.
I printed the image on some Canson Mix Media paper and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color it in. I remember coloring this image while we were camping - I never go camping without some images and some markers. I set myself up at the picnic table with a view of the lake and had a thoroughly relaxing time. (The colors I used are listed below for you.)
The sentiment is from a retired Catherine Pooler Designs stamp set called Awesome & Wonderful. I stamped it with Versafine Nocturne ink using my mini MISTI and probably stamped it 3 times to get a solid image on the mix media paper.
I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die, layered it onto some black card stock then adhered it to the card base with a layer of craft foam for dimension.
