I recently purchased the Holiday Mug Shots Stamp Set along with the coordinating die set from Catherine Pooler Designs and it has put me in a holiday card making mood.
I filled this cute Santa mug with a bunch of candy canes from the Sweetest Season Stamp Set (also from Catherine Pooler Designs). I stamped the images with Midnight ink and used a blender pen to color them with Peppermint Scrub, Merlot, Pink Champagne, Pebble and Buttercream inks. I really love how the candy canes turned out.
I used an exacto knife to cut a slit in the cup the tucked all the candy canes inside. They are adhered with craft foam for dimension onto some layers cut with the Ruffles & Dashes Dies. Doing layers of white are a simple way to add texture to a card.
