SANTA'S AIRLINE FROM JANE'S DOODLES

I remember being little and looking up to the sky to try and see Santa and then looking up to the sky with my girls when they were little to try and find him.
The Santa's Airline Digital Stamp from Jane's Doodles took me back there instantly. This image is one of the images you get when you're a patron. Click HERE to learn more about that.

I knew instantly I was making a slimline card and that the plane would be pulling along a MERRY CHRISTMAS greeting. I printed the image onto mix media paper and used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color it in. (The colors I used are linked below). I used a combination of Avocado and Chrome Orange for the plane. I cut the image out, glued it to some white card stock and cut it out again so I could pop it up on the card.
I cut all the letters out from patterned paper and black card stock and glued them together offsetting them a little so there was black shadow.

I cut a panel of card stock using the dotted slimline die, then blended on some clouds using a retired stencil then stamped trees along the bottom doing first, second and third generation stamping.
I used another favorite but also retired stencil for snow. I added the texture paste to the panel and to the plane. Once it dried I brightened some of them up and added more snow with a POSCA Paint Pen.

I adhered everything to the panel, drew on some black lines to be the ropes holding the letters then adhered the panel to a white card base.

Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.

Take care,
Susan
