...we all scream for ice cream!
What better excuse is there than a birthday to have some ice cream treats. The COOLEST Digital Stamp from Jane's Doodles has some adorable images to create with.
I recently turned the big 6 0 and celebrated with a camping trip with my family. We didn't have ice cream but we did have treats and the best time. One of my gifts was some new Tombow markers and a set of Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors paint set and I used all of them on this image.
The image is printed on Canson Mix Media card stock. When I finished coloring I cut the image out then set to work on the rest of the card. I knew I wanted to use some bright, fun and festive paper so I chose some from the Sketchbook Paper Pack from Catherine Pooler Designs. This set is one of my favorites.
I cut one of the patterns using a large stitched rectangle die and adhered that directly to the card base. Next I cut two strips of different patterns, layered them onto some black card stock then adhered them to the card. I popped up the ice cream with craft foam then die cut the happy birthday letters and adhered them.
What's your favorite ice cream treat?
Mine is boring - vanilla in a cone or dipped in chocolate.
If you don't like ice cream, what's your favorite treat to have on your birthday?
Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.
Take care,
Susan
