SUMMERTIME SWEETS

The first day of Summer is not officially until June 21st but the weather here sure feels like summer has begun. It's been hot and in my mind that means ice cream treats!!

My favorite treat as a kid was ice cream sandwiches so when I saw this cute little ice cream sandwich die from Poppy I knew I had to have it.
I paired it with some Catherine Pooler Designs stamps, dies and inks to complete the card - and a little WOW embossing powder too.

What's better than one ice cream? Well that would be two ice creams, lol.
For this card I used a favorite Catherine Pooler Designs stamp Set called First, Ice Cream. It's super cute and fun to play with too.

I used a rainbow of ink colors also from Catherine Pooler Designs and a blender pen to color the images. I stamped the ice cream cart and sentiment onto a panel cut with a CPD die, adhered one of the 7 layer cones to the panel then popped the other one up with craft foam. The panel was added with craft foam for more dimension.

Both of these cards I made for a fun challenge happening at StampNation. Click HERE to learn more about this fun place.

Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.

Take care,
Susan
