I recently went back to work, working with kids at an elementary school and have been coming home exhausted with very little energy to create. Some days are harder than others and I have to remind myself to be patient but every day is rewarding and fun and I love it!! The day I made this card the sentiment jumped off the page at me as it was a particular tough day.
I'm playing with the Coffee Mood Digital Stamp from Joy Clair Designs today and pulled out some of my Altenew Artist Markers that haven't seen daylight in a long time. I printed the image onto white card stock and used C001 and Y612 for the cup and WG01 and WG03 for the lid. I decided to use some pattern paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Harvest Festival Paper pack for the sleeve.
I cut the panel using one of the dies from Catherine Poolers Designs Ruffles & Dashes Dies then blended Ground Espresso Oxide ink over the whole panel. A few spritzes of water add some texture and make for the perfect background for the cup.
Both the panel and the cup were added to the card base using craft foam. I kept the sentiment simple and added it directly to the panel.
