Two days in a row I was able to get into my craft room - feels so good!! I looked up a couple of challenges to inspire me. The first one was CAS Colours & Sketches and the second one was Freshly Made Sketches.
I cut a panel of white card stock with a stitched rectangle die then used a scor board to add some lines across the bottom of the panel about an inch and a half wide. You can see them in this pic.
I chose 3 Oxide inks and did some direct to paper with each one. I cut some butterflies using the Butterfly Buddies Dies from Catherine Pooler Designs. I adhered the two smaller ones directly to the panel and then cut 3 more of the large butterflies from white card stock. I stacked them all together with the colored one on top then adhered it to the panel.
I stamped a sentiment from the Thoughtful Phrases Stamp Set on the bottom of the panel then added it to a card base with craft foam.
I decided to add another sentiment from the same stamp set but this one I embossed with white embossing powder onto a strip of black card stock. I added that to the card then called this one done.
These are the challenges I'm playing along with.
