Hello!
I was making Valentine's cards the other day and thought I need to make one that's not all pink and hearts. So I went through my stash of stamps and dies and found some that I thought would make a fun Valentine for anyone who likes to fish.
I used the Fly Daddy Stamps & Dies for the rod, fish, hook and the sentiment portion stamped in black. The valentine is from the Hey There Dumpling Stamp Set, the patterned paper is from the Too Fly Paper Pack and is cut using a heart from the Nested Stitched Hearts Dies.
I cut the sentiment apart and layered everything onto a panel cut with a stitched rectangle die then adhered to the card base. I outlined the sentiments with a thin black sharpie to help them stand out more. I could've layered them onto black card stock but I just didn't want to. I was being lazy I guess.
I didn't pop anything up on this card which makes it easier to send in the mail but it would look cute with the valentine, hook and fish popped up.
