Hello Friends! Happy Tuesday!
I recently purchased some really cute digital images from Polkadoodles and this is one of them. It's called Love Bird Balloons and you can find it HERE. I'm not affiliated with them, I just really LOVE their images.
I printed this one on mixed media paper then used my new Black Velvet Silver Brushes #'s 0, 2 & 4 and some Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color the image. (colors used are listed below)
When the image was dry I cut it with a large stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn that is the same size as the card front.
The sentiments are from two Catherine Pooler Designs stamp sets - Hey There Dumpling and Notes of Love Sentiments - and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Because I used mixed media paper and it's not completely smooth I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiments so I could stamp them a few times to get a solid image.
The Tombow markers I used:
purple hat, hearts, girl birds socks: 533, 679
pink heart, flower, headband: 761, ,803
beeks: 993, 946
girl bird: 991, 946
boy bird: 977, 969
leaves, boy bird socks: 177
sky: 451, 526
ground: N45
shading: N95, N75, N45
This card makes me smile - is that okay to say about your own card? - and I can't wait to color some more Polkadoodles images.
