Yes, that's right. I used the wall in my basement to make the background for this card. The wall to the right of my craft desk has a stucco finish which I thought would be perfect for falling snow. I heated the Simon Hurley Stamping foam with my heat gun then pressed it into the wall. I inked it up with some Oh Boy! ink from Catherine Pooler Designs then pressed it onto some paper. It makes the perfect snowy sky.
I cut some snow hills from Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Border Dies, adhered them to the sky then using craft foam I added that to the card base.
I used my mini Misti to stamp the MERRY from Taylored Expressions with Cranberry Fizz ink then fussy cut it out. The Christmas is from the CPD's Holiday One Liner Sentiments Stamp Set and embossed with white on black card stock. I adhered the sentiments to the card then stamped out the trees from the CPD's Alpine Village Stamp Set using Spruce, Eucalyptus and Sage inks.
I cut out all the trees and adhered them to the card then added a die cut deer from CPD's Snow Globe Dies. I used some scrap brown card stock in my stash.
The weather is awful right now so if you're travelling to be with family and friends this holiday season, please please please be safe.
Happy Holidays!!
Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.
Take care,
Susan
