BEATING THE WINTER BLAHS

As I made this card and wrote this post it has been snowing and windy and cold outside. We've had an extreme cold warning with a risk of frostbite for the last few days and it has definitely been cold.
When I sat down to make a card for today I knew I wanted to stay away from anything with a winter theme and what's better than florals to brighten your day.
I printed a floral image from the Everything Better Digital Stamp Set 3 times onto mixed media paper. Using my Tombow Dual Brush Pens I colored one image completely and then colored just the flowers on the other two. I cut the fully colored one with a circle die then cut out the other flowers and layered them on top. You can see in this picture how they layer.

The sentiment is from the Sending a Little Message Digital Stamp Set and printed on white card stock. I cut it with a circle die and blended some Stormy Sky Distress ink around the edges of both circles.
I used a brick wall embossing folder to make the panel that the circles sit on. I couldn't find the one I used - I've had it since the beginning of time lol but I linked to something similar below.
I added everything to a white card base and called this one done. I may go back and add some sparkle to the flowers or some gems before I send it out but for now looking at this card makes me forget about the weather outside my door.

Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.

Take care,
Susan
