THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE #91 - EMBOSSING

Hi Friends!
It's Saturday so that means it's time for another challenge over at Three Room Studio. This week the challenge is to do some embossing on your project. I'm using a few stamp sets on my card today. The beautiful Foliage Stamp Set, Let's Hygge Stamp Set and the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set.

I started by doing some ink blending on a panel of white card stock using Fossilized Amber, Crackling Campfire, Iced Spruce and Vintage Photo Oxide Inks. Once I had it blended how I wanted it I cut the panel using the largest stitched rectangle die in the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Die set.

I used my Mini MISTI to position some of the leaf stamps and the mug so I can stamp them a few times with the WOW embossing ink. I wanted to be sure to have a solid print before I sprinkled on the embossing powder. I moved the foliage stamps around and repeated the stamping process until the panel was covered.
I poured on some WOW Rose Gold embossing powder and heat set it with my heat gun. Seeing the powder melt is so satisfying and the Rose Gold is so very pretty.

I added the panel to a white card base with some craft foam then struggled with which sentiment to add to the card. In the end I used them all. One of the things I love about the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set is that the sentiments are all small and can easily be combined to create a bigger message. I used some scrap card stock I had in my stash that I've had for YEARS. I'm trying hard to use it all up.
I heat set the sentiments with white embossing powder and used craft foam to add them to the card panel making them pop out a bit.
