I'm hanging out with some Cool Cats from Your Next Stamp today! This stamp set is so cute, and I love that it has coordinating dies too!
I used 5 of the 6 images from this set. I stamped them with Versamark Onyx black ink, colored them with Prismacolor pencils then cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the first card above I cut some craft foam with the cat and music note dies to adhere the images to a panel for some dimension. I stamped the sentiments (the happy birthday is from the Clucking Cool Stamp Set) onto the panel then added it directly to a white card base.
For the second card I did some masking on a card panel and blended some CPD inks across the panel for a place to adhere the cats. The cat in the middle is popped up with a wobble and the ones on the sides are adhered directly to the panel with some googly eyes for fun. I stamped the sentiments (the Congrats is from the Totally Retro Stamp Set) then adhered the panel to the card base.
After coloring the image and stamping the sentiment on this last card I cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die then adhered it directly to the card base.
All three of these cards were quick and easy to make. I kept the coloring very simple with minimal shading or blending and the let the cute images be the focus of the cards.
