GATHER TOGETHER NEW RELEASE FROM JOY CLAIR DESIGNS

I love the expression on Santas face in this image from the Christmas Wish Digital Set. I printed both the image and the sentiment onto some Canson Mixed Media paper and grabbed my Tombow markers to color.

I used the following Tombow markers; 847, 451, 990, 977, N89, N65, N75, N55, N25 and N15. I kept the coloring very simple adding color to where the darker areas would be then pulling the color out with a wet paint brush.

I cut two snow hills using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border Dies and adhered them to the bottom of the panel. I kept the hills small to make Santa appear like he's high above them.

I cut the panel using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die then added craft foam to the back.

I covered the card base with a piece of MFT's B&W Striped Paper then added Santa. I'm thinking now that I should've added a few snowflakes.

This image makes me smile every time I look at it. I'll be back soon with a card from one of the other new sets.
