DON'T THROW THE LITTLE PIECES AWAY!

I used to throw away the little pieces of a cover plate die after I cut it but not this time. I recently used the Cross Your X's Cover Plate Die on a card and decided I would save the diamond pieces to use on a card.

I cut a piece of white card stock to 4 x 5 1/4" then adhered the leftover diamond pieces across the panel. I stamped a bunch of candles from the Extra Frosting Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating die. (Why do I keep forgetting to stamp the center part of the flame.???) 

I adhered them all to the panel then using my MISTI I stamped the simple sentiment from the Everybody Say Happy Stamp Set. It fit perfectly along the edge of three of the diamonds.

I added the panel to a white card base with craft foam.

I need to go back and stamp the center of those flames before I send this card out.
