It's been so HOT here lately it got me thinking to when I was younger and would have root beer popsicles as a kid in the summer. I can't find them anymore and believe me I have looked but I still remember them.
I pulled out the First, Ice Cream stamp set and stamped out a lot of popsicles onto some mixed media paper. The first one I colored was of course a 'root beer' flavored one using the new Macchiato ink. Next I pulled out some more inks and made a lot of popsicles choosing the ones you see on the card. I used Lime Rickey, Garden Party and Flirty Fuchsia for the middle one, Tutti Frutti and Limoncello for the one on the right. I brushed on some Sheer Shimmer to give the popsicles a shiny, wet look.
The panel I used to adhere the popsicles to and the sentiment is stamped using the Through The Prism stamp set. I stamped both with WOW ink and embossed with WOW white embossing powder.
I adhered everything to a white card base popping the middle popsicle up with some craft foam.
And now I want a popsicle lol!
