I'm sure you've all seen the new inks by now but let me show you again. Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing 5 NEW INKS and they are part of the Neutral Collection.
Buttercream, Spiced, Macchiato, Cargo and S'mores are the new colors joining Sand Castle, Over Coffee and Icing on the cake to make up The Browns.

To make the background for the Horn of Plenty image I tore a piece of copy paper to give me a rough edge and used it as a mask and started at the top of the card stock panel using Buttercream ink. Holding the copy paper down with one hand  just below the top of the panel I lightly swiped the ink pad towards the top of the panel. I moved the copy paper down and a little to the side to change up the look of the hard edge that appears after swiping the ink pad. I repeated this process down the card stock panel changing the ink color up as I went.
This is the order of inks that I used - Buttercream, Apricot, Spiced, Ginger, Cargo and S'mores.

I cut the panel down then stamped the Horn of Plenty with Midnight ink. The sentiment is stamped with WOW embossing ink then embossed with WOW white embossing powder. I used a blender pen and some ink to add more definition to the stamped image then added some highlights with a white Posca Paint Pen.

I layered the panel onto some white card stock leaving a small border around the edge - about 1/8"
I chose the gingham patterned paper from the Harvest Festival Patterned Paper pack, cut it to 4 x 5 1/4" and adhered it directly to a white card base. I used craft foam to add the Horn of Plenty panel for some dimension.

***Please note that I've linked to the new products below but they won't be live in the shop until the dates and times mentioned above***

Susan
