I had SO MUCH FUN making this card. One of the trees in the Because Trees Stamp Set instantly made me think of Christmas Lights so I made a Christmas card.
The Quint-Essentials Collection is made up of 4 Bundles: The Occasions Bundle, The Saying Hey Bundle, The Peeking In Bundle and the Just Because Bundle. You can see each bundle and its contents HERE.
There are also 4 new inks being added to the Apothecary Collection. The colors are Whipped Honey, Matcha, Crushed Violet and Lilac. They're gorgeous!!
Today I used the Because Trees Stamps and Dies from the Just Because Bundle along with the Folk Star Slimline Die and the Wrapped and Ready Stamp Set. I also used 3 of the 4 new Apothecary inks.
I die cut the Folk Star Slimline Die and adhered it to a slim line card base. I tore a strip of white card stock to make 'snow' for the bottom of the card and a place to stamp the sentiment. I stamped all the 'Christmas lights' then cut them with the coordinating dies. I also cut them from plain white card stock to add two and three layers to them so they pop off the card a little. I added some twine to the card to 'hang' the lights from.
The trees are stamped, cut with the coordinating dies then colored in using a blender pen. The sentiment is stamped with Peppermint Scrub ink.
