I used the Cosmic Cover Plate Die and did some ink blending over the whole panel. I cut out the circle which I used on another card and then saved the rest of the panel for this card. I adhered it to a white card base then set about making the rest of the card. I used the same circle die to cut some patterned paper to use where I had cut the circle from but I wasn't lovin' it so I cut a circle from white card stock and made a night sky. I believe I used Oh Boy!, Something Borrowed and Suede Shoes for the background.
I used Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks to blend on the circle for the night sky. I blended a little bit of CP's Suede Shoes around some of the edge to darken it up a little. I spritzed a little water onto the circle then quickly dried it then decided it didn't look enough like stars so I splattered on some white acrylic paint then adhered it to the card base.
Next I stamped, colored and fussy cut the critters, campfire and the s'mores. I chose not to use the dies this time because I didn't want the images to have a white border.
The sentiment is from the Notable & Quotable Stamp Set and is embossed with WOW white embossing powder onto black card stock. I adhered the campfire directly to the card then used craft foam to adhere the critters. The s'more fits perfectly in the racoons paws and the other one sits nicely on the sentiment.
Thanks so much for spending part of your day with me.
Take care,
Susan
