SHAKE IT UP

The first thing you may notice on this card is that there's no sentiment. I haven't decided if it's going to be a Father's Day card or a birthday card but when I do I'll most likely add it to the top left portion of the frame.

I did first, second and third generation stamping with the trees using Spruce ink onto some white card stock. This is a GREAT way to stretch your ink colors. Next I added some sky using Oh Boy! and Suede Shoes inks using some blending brushes.
I used the mini MISTI to stamp the bear with Midnight ink so I could stamp it a few times to be sure to get a good, solid image.

I die cut the large frame from the Chalkboard Frames Die Set and blended on Sand Castle and Over Coffee inks. I adhered a piece of acetate to the inside of the frame then added adhesive foam strips to the back of the frame. I cut the panel of trees just a smidgeon smaller than the frame, sprinkled on some King Canyons Sequins then adhered the frame to the panel.

I finished the card by adding a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" patterned paper from the S'mores Paper Pack - I thought the paw prints worked perfectly with the bear - to a white card base then adhered the shaker piece to the card base.

Thanks so much for spending some of your day with me.

Take care,
Susan
