LOVE YOU TONS

Di's Digi Stamps is sponsoring us at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends FB community. Their selection of products are amazing! They're offering a special discount this weekend so if you're thinking about doing a little shopping then you'll want to join Passionate Paper Creations and Friends (if you aren't already a member) so you can grab that discount code to use at Di's Digi Stamps.

I'm coloring the LOVE YOU TONS image - it's so adorable - with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens on some mixed media paper. I read somewhere that this is the best paper to use with these pens. Not sure if that's true or not but I do really like how they work together so I recommend it. I'll list the colors below.

These are the markers I used.  055 Process Yellow, 847 Crimson, 761 Carnation, 817 Mauve, 245 Sap Green, 379 Jade Green and N65 Cool Gray 5
These are truly the easiest markers ever to color with. I start by adding color using the marker to the areas that I want the darkest then use a water brush to pull the color out from there. I repeat the process until I'm happy with the look. That's it.

I used the stitched rectangle die in the CPD Post This Slimline Die Set to cut the panel then stamped the sentiment from CPD Milestone Birthday Numbers stamp set. I used my MISTI for this so I could stamp the 1 using all the markers I used on the image. I started with a small section of one color, stamped it a few times then did the next section until the whole number was done. Then I used a water brush to blend the colors together a little.

I added a strip of Gina K Moonlit Fog card stock along the left side of the card base then added the panel with some craft foam. I finished the card by adding some Simple Stories Little Princess Enamel Dots. They don't match exactly but they're close and I'm trying to use what I have before I buy more.

Thanks so much for spending some of your day with me.

Take care.
Susan
