CAN'T CHOOSE? USE THEM ALL!

I recently challenged myself to use more patterned paper on my cards. I tended to use them mostly on scrapbook pages and on craft projects like making my own mini albums but not on cards. I couldn't make up my mind which papers to use on this card so I used all the patterns in the Twilight Reading Paper Pack.

Grey is probably my favorite color so it comes as no surprise how much I love this pack. I cut strips of each paper and adhered them to a piece of card stock. I added a couple of torn pieces down one side - the grey one is patterned paper and the other one is from direct to paper with Apricot ink - then adhered it to a card base with craft foam.

I used one of the dies from the Ex Libris Die set and cut it from white card stock.  I did direct to paper with Twilight ink to the outer piece and Apricot to the inner piece then adhered them to the card. I stamped and cut the bird cage and because this card is so full of color and pattern I left it uncolored. I stamped, die cut and colored the bird using the same inks and a blender pen and popped it up on the card.

I've added a few sequins but decided not to add a sentiment. When I know the occasion that I'll use it for then I'll decide to either add it to the front or the inside.

Thanks so much for spending some of your day with me.

Take care.
Susan
