One of my all time favorite activities to do as a child, with friends, when our kids were little and as we have begun our retirement years has ALWAYS been camping! Now I will admit I don't sleep in a tent anymore but I did spend many years camping that way and have so many fond memories.

I've been playing with the S'mores Please Bundle and having a blast!
I started by stamping all the images from the Happy Camper Stamp Set using my mini MISTI and coloring them in using some CP inks and a blender pen. After I colored them in I restamped them then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I just used scissors for the moon because I didn't want it to have the white edge around it.
To make the sky I masked off the 'ground' then used some distress inks and a blending brush. I started by adding the lighter blues everywhere then added the yellow and purple inks in blotches focusing on the center area above the fire then added the darker blue around the edges then black around the outer most edges. I spritzed on some water and dried it quickly to get some 'stars'. I also splattered on some white acrylic paint with a tiny paint brush for even more 'stars'.
I masked off the completed sky then dragged my brown ink pads across the bottom to make the ground. I adhered the images to the card popping up the cute critters so they are in front of the fire and cut a slit in the paw of the one 'holding' the marshmallow on the stick.
I used the mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment directly onto the card panel with Midnight ink. I think I stamped it 3, maybe 4 times to get a good solid print over the distress ink.
