ONE HANDSOME BEAST

I had the urge to make a masculine card today with the Gardener's Notebook Patterned Paper. Probably because my hubby & I have been talking about starting a garden.

I started with the argyle patterned paper then picked the stamp set. I went with the Wild About You Stamp Set because of the sentiment and the deer. I set them up in my mini MISTI  then stamped the deer twice with Icing on the Cake ink and the sentiment with a blending of Green Tea and Eucalyptus inks.
I cut the panel and 3 sides of the argyle patterned paper with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set. I distressed the 4th edge of the argyle paper then adhered them together.

I tore a strip of another paper from the Gardener's Notebook Patterned Paper and adhered it to a white card base. I added the panel to the card base with some craft foam then stamped the starts using Terracotta and Eucalyptus inks.
I added the shadow under the deer using two copic markers to ground the image.

Thanks so much for spending some of your day with me.

Take care
Susan
