A CAS BIRTHDAY FLORAL ARRANGEMENT

Hello. I hope you had a good weekend.
I've got a CAS (clean and simple) card to share with you today. It's funny but I remember not too long ago when a CAS card would really intimidate me. I loved the look of them and was always drawn to them but I could never make them. When they were in my hands they always looked unfinished. So, I challenged myself to make them and now I absolutely LOVE them.  There's really no style of card I don't like but there's definitely styles I'm more comfortable making.
Okay. Enough jibber jabber.

I used some of the amazing products from the Gardener's Treasures bundle to make this card along with the In The Square Stencil.

I started with a piece of white card stock, the In the Square Stencil, some Cove Blue ink and a blending brush. I didn't cover the whole panel just a portion. Next I cut it with the largest stitched rectangle in the Postage Stamp Die Set then adhered that to a white card base with some craft foam.

I stamped a few of the floral pieces from the Dried Treasures Stamp Set, colored them in with some Apricot, Ginger, Wintergreen and Eucalyptus inks with a blender pen. I cut them out with their coordinating dies then adhered them to the card. The jar is a leftover piece from another card. I cut it with the Dried Treasures Dies from some Gardener's Notebook Paper.
I stamped the sentiment with Cove Blue ink then added a few of the Tuscany sequins to finish the card.

Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!

Have a great day!!
Susan
