IT'S RELEASE DAY FOR CELEBRATE SPRING WITH CATHERINE POOLER

 

Who else is ready to celebrate Spring?

I know I am!! It was so cold and windy here today but thankfully the snow is almost all gone and Spring is on the way!!

Spring is also on the way to the Catherine Pooler Designs shop. All the new products from the Celebrate Spring Collection will be available for purchase at 9am EST today, March 9th.

Before I share my card for today here's a quick look at all the bundles in this collection.

Now for todays card.

I started by embossing a piece of white card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" with the Coming Up Roses Background Stamp with white embossing powder. I adhered it directly to a white card base.

Next I die cut the Just Mom Word Die twice and did direct to paper on one of them with Tiara ink. I adhered them together offsetting them ever so slightly.

I taped off a piece of white card stock so I had a section that measured 2 3/4 x 3 1/4" and blended on Minted and Cummerbund ink. I removed the tape then cut it so it had a 1/16" border then adhered it to the card base with craft foam.

I adhered the mom to the bottom of the panel then stamped the floral images from the Fresh Picked Floral Stamp Set. I added a little Twilight ink to the flowers and some Minted to the leaf. I die cut the flower and the leaf and fussy cut the stems then added them to the card.

To finish the card I stamped a sentiment from the Mother's & Daughters Sentiments Stamp Set with Midnight ink and added a few of the Helsinki Sequins.

I love how this card turned out. Blues & greens are a favorite color combo for me. I don't typically gravitate to yellow but lately Tiara has been seeing a lot of love in my craft room.
