Happy Saturday Everyone!! Welcome to another Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge. This week the prompt is Love &/or Hearts. Hearts are not my go-to when card making but I have noticed recently that I've been using them more. I love what they add to a card
I used the Heart Ray Quarter Stencil to add the hearts to the white card stock panel. I used Rouge, Peppermint Scrub and Merlot inks from Catherine Pooler Designs to ink blend on to the hearts.
The travel cups of chai - yes I imagine them full of chai since I'm NOT a coffee drinker - are from the Awesome Coffee Stamp Set. I did some paper piecing using paper from Catherine Pooler Designs Woodsy Patterned Paper Pack. I thought the colors worked perfectly with the hearts and suited the travel mugs.
I gave the lids a little shading using some gray Copics.
The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set. I curved the stamps a little when adding them to my stamping block to give them the same curve as the sleeves on the cups. I stamped them with Midnight ink, cut them out and added them to the card.
You may notice that one of the mugs has some 'texture' to it. I used a small piece from a cardboard box I had laying around. I love what it adds to the card.
