With all the turmoil in the world right now I've been doing a lot of thinking. I am filled with sadness for the people of Ukraine and for the unwilling people of Russia.
I have been thinking about all that I have to be thankful for in my life.
My card today is simple. I cut a panel using the large stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Die Set. I used Aquatini ink and a blending brush to add a little color using the Square Dance Stencil. Next I removed the stencil and blended on a little Minted ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Bushels of Love Stamp Set using my mini MISTI and Midnight ink. It wasn't really necessary to use the MISTI as I got a good impression the first time but I wanted to be sure. I adhered the panel to a white card base then stamped the flower from the Origami Cheers Stamp Set.
I colored it with Minted, Aquatini and Uptown inks using a blender pen. I cut it and a piece of craft foam with the coordinating die and adhered them together with some Bearly Arts Glue and then adhered that to the card.
Please take the time to hug your loved ones and if you can't hug them physically, hug them with words.
I'm playing along with the following challenges:
