TEA FOR TWO WITH SCRAP'N STAMP

Happy New Year Everyone!!
It's the first Friday of the month so that means it's time for a Hop
at the Scrap'n Stamp Blog. We're starting off the year with Tea for Two as our theme.
As usual with our hops we have a prize for one lucky person who leaves a comment so be sure to leave me a comment as well as everyone else in the hop (listed below) to increase your chances of winning a $50 Gift Certificate to the

Scrap'n Stamp also offers a sale with every Hop. This weekend the sale is 20% OFF on select Tea & Coffee Themed Products. Click HERE to check that out.

I was quite happy when I saw the theme for this hop - Tea for Two - I drink a lot of tea. I start my day with a BIG cuppa chai or 2. I almost always have a London Fog in the afternoon and then I end my day with another cuppa chai. Some days it's less and some days it's more and I'm okay with that :)

I stamped the image from Penny Black's Saying A Latte Stamp Set with Nocturne ink onto some Tonic Kraft card stock. I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils then stamped the sentiment from the same set.

I used the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched 4 Bar Rectangle Die Set to cut the panel, layered it onto a piece of Lawn Fawn Licorice card stock cut just a tiny bit larger than the panel. I added that to a white card base with craft foam.
I was going to call the card done here but decided I didn't like the sentiment. It originally said 'coffee doesn't ask questions coffee just understands'. Well I am NOT a coffee fan (don't judge me) never have been and I never will be BUT like I mentioned above I do LOVE my chai.
I remembered having an old stamp set from a company no longer in business that had the word chai in it. So I stamped that and covered the word coffee in the sentiment with it.
If I were to do this card over again I would mask off the word coffee before stamping the sentiment then add the word chai but I wasn't about to redo this one and honestly I'm probably going to use this in a scrapbook layout about my chai obsession so I'm okay with it.
