SENDING GOOD LUCK

This card took a few twists and turns. I had one idea when I sat down at my craft table. This wasn't it lol but I did use the products that I had in mind.

I did some direct to paper with Juniper Mist ink for the background. I applied very little pressure to the ink pad so as not to get solid coverage. I love this look - it's like faded denim. I stamped the Origami butterfly using the same Juniper Mist ink. I cut a wide strip of the colorful bamboo patterned paper then two very thin strips from the Polished color patterned paper and adhered all this to a white card base.

I had some lanterns leftover from another project so I decided to use them on this card. The sentiment is stamped with Juniper Mist ink directly on the lantern. I'm thrilled with how that turned out.
I adhered the lanterns to the card with craft foam then adhered the tassels and hanger pieces.
I realized too late that I didn't leave enough room to add any tassels to the lantern that has the sentiment - oh well.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
