Hi Everyone!! I'm taking part in the Saturday Challenge over at Three Room Studio and the theme is Slimline.
I used the Welcome Winter Stamp Set along with the Hello Friend Stamp Set and the coordinating die set to make this fun scene.
I started by stamping out the images with my MISTI. I did stamp multiples of the trees as I knew I was going to be creating a forest behind the animals. I colored the images with my Copics then placed them back in my MISTI to stamp them again. This makes all the black lines crisp. Next I fussy cut out all the images.
To make the scene I cut a panel of card stock to 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" then using some Distress Oxide inks and a blending brush I blended on some sky. I splattered on some water then dried it with a towel to get the appearance of snow falling in the distance.
I took two pieces of white card stock both 8 1/4" long and cut them to look like snowy hills. I added some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink around the edges of all three pieces then added the sky and one of the snow hills to the card base. I added the other snow hill with craft foam then adhered all the images to create the scene. I poked a little hole in the bears hand to feed some black twine through then wrapped it around the moose and then back behind the bear.
I added the sentiment and called this card done.
