My favorite colors have always been blues and greens. They're so calming and beautiful and the ones I used in this card are among my favorites. Truth be told there's not many blues or greens that I don't like.
This card is really simple. I could have stamped each image separately and cut them out with their coordinating die but I wanted to keep it more clean and simple.
I used the Forest Foliage Stamp Set and inked up each leaf with two colors - the top the lighter color and the bottom the darker color and using a blending brush to blend them in the middle before stamping. I did use my MISTI for this so I could stamp each leaf multiple times allowing me to build up the color on each one.
I stamped the sprigs (I have no idea what the proper name is) in Icing on the Cake ink. I used the same ink for some direct to paper to make Icing on the Cake card stock and heat embossed the sentiment from the Thoughtful Phrases Stamp Set with white embossing powder, cut it down and placed it on the card. I die cut the panel with the stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies and added it to a card base with craft foam.
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
Stay safe everyone!!
