My card today uses my new favorite ink color combination.
I've always been team Spa when it comes to the CPD ink collections. ALL the inks are amazing but I've always gravitated to the Spa Colors.
But then they introduced the Luxe Collection.
A gorgeous set of 8 colors that are from the Party Collection and did I mention they are gorgeous! I feel like this collection is as if Spa and Party married and had 8 new ink babies. It's like the best of both collections.
My card today is really very simple and uses 4 of the 8 Luxe colors. I used Flame, Glitz, Martini and Uptown.
I stamped the Garland Border across the top of a card panel then colored it in using a blender pen and all 4 colors.
I stamped the stockings then filled them in with 3 of the 4 inks. I cut the panel down with the large stitched rectangle die in the Postage Stamp Die Set then stamped the 'string' in Twilight ink to hang the stockings from. I popped one up with craft foam then stamped the sentiment with Midnight ink. I added the panel to a card base with craft foam and this card is done - so simple.
I think I'll try some other combinations from the Luxe Ink Collection. I'd like to hang some Glitz and Glam stockings with some Dress Blues. I don't think you can go wrong choosing since they're designed to go together and compliment each other.
Just choose a few colors and have some fun!!
