Lately I've really been embracing using patterned paper and pairing the Decked Out Holiday Patterned Paper with the Nostalgic Season Stamps & Dies, Here We Come A Caroling Stamp Set, Holiday Charm Stamp Set and the Block Alphabet Dies makes this my favorite card I've made this season.

I started with the deer. I stamped the outline with Over the Coffee ink then stamped the fill in portion with Sand Castle ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. Next I stamped him a hat from the Holiday Charm Stamp Set. The hat actually stamps the other direction so I did some mirror stamping so it would sit on his head the right way. I colored it in with Rockin' Red and Twilight inks using a blender pen.
I cut the two patterned papers using the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die set and cut the red piece in half in order to stretch it out to fit behind the blue piece. I also used the same die to cut some white pieces for snow. I stamped and cut out some trees from the Here We Come A-Caroling Stamp Set using Sage ink.
One of my favorite things about using the Block Alphabet Die Set is that I can make any sentiment I want. (They're great for personalizing a card by adding the recipients name). I die cut 12 H's and 12 O's and stacked them each 4 high and then adhered the card together.
