I have been blown away with my teammates creations!
I am in love with this owl from the Wiser Stamp and Die set.
I decided to do some ink blending on the owl today. I used DO-Si-DO, Flame and Glitz inks and I love how it turned out. I used my MISTI so I could stamp it a couple of times and really get the inks to blend. I started by adding Do-Si-Do to the top, Glitz to the bottom and then Flame in the middle. Doing it in this order helps to not contaminate the lighter ink pads with the darker ink. I used a blending brush to blend the edges where the colors met then stamped it onto the card stock. I repeated the process then cut it out with the coordinating die.
Next I stamped the two sentiments - Happy Birthday and Another Year Wiser in Sand Castle ink down the side of a 4 x 5 1/4" panel. I adhered that directly to a card base then using one of the circle dies I cut some paper from the Woodsy Patterned Paper Pack (LOVE this paper). I adhered the circle to the card with craft foam then added the owl with more craft foam.
