TWO FOR ONE WITH SECOND GENERATION STAMPING

My cards today were super quick and easy to make. I started out with the idea for the card on the left then thought I could use the leftover ink from the first stamp for another card. When you stamp the image a second time without inking it up it's called second generation stamping. I've done it on many occasions on the same card but this time I decided to make the second card all done with second generation stamping.

This first card is first generation stamping.

I wanted to stamp some blobs onto my card then add something over top so I used the images meant to go over the tree trunks from the Fun Forest Stamp Set to make the blobs. I love using stamps in a way they weren't intended.
I used the little 'confetti' stamp from the Party Like It's Stamp Set to stamp and Midnight ink to add the party feel to the card.
I cut both panes using the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die set and added them to some colored card stock I found in my stash that matched using craft foam.

This next card is all second generation stamping.

The sentiment is the same for both cards. It's from the Fun Forest Stamp Set and embossed with white on black card stock and added with more craft foam.

Which one is your favorite?

Happy Stampin'

Stay safe everyone!!
