NEW INK COLORS FROM CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS

Have you seen the new ink colors that Catherine Pooler Designs is releasing next week?

Aren't they gorgeous!!

They are Sparkling Berry, Serene, Clay Mask and Merlot and they complete the Beach Retreat Ink Collection.

I've been having a LOT of fun with these inks. I've made about 20 cards in the last few days and can't stop.

Along with the inks Catherine is releasing some fun new products.
She shared the first bundle earlier today.

It's called the Doxie Party Bundle

and it includes the following:

- Big Happy Sentiments Stamp Set
- Doxie Birthday Party Stamp Set
- Doxie Birthday Party Dies
- Round of Happy Dies
- Cupcakes & Candles Patterned Paper
- Highland Sequin Mix

I don't have this bundle but I've seen a few cards made with it and they are adorable. I think I'll have to add it to my wish list.

I do have 8 cards to share with you today that use the new ink colors.

I stamped the background piece first then die cut the circle from each one giving me two cards from one inked panel.

I have to say that the cards with the die cut circles started out as one layer cards but I messed up and made one upside down. I used the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set to cut it out and added it to a white card base with craft foam. I really liked how it looked so I did it to the next two as well.

What I did to make the card on the left in this next pic is I placed the die cut circle onto a large block then positioned the stamps around the edge of the circle bending them to fit. I removed the paper from the block, adhered it to the card then stamped the sentiments around the edge. When I decided it wasn't going to be a one layer card I cut it out with a larger circle die and added it to a card base with craft foam.

I kept the stamping very simple using solid images and simple sentiments all done with Midnight ink.

I'll link to everything below but the new products won't go live in the shop until July 14th at 9am EST unless you are a StampNation member then you can order early on July 13th at noon EST.
